Description
POSITION SUMMARY 
Highly Motivated, detail oriented and deadline sensitive legal associate needed for to support successful US Government services contractor specializing in work for Department of Defense and located in Princeton area.
 
Applicant will report to In-House General Counsel.  Applicant must be organized, goal oriented and able to work independently and with demanding executive team.  Applicants should be highly organized with multi-tasking abilities (fidelity to deadlines, ability to prioritize and manage tasks, ability to work independently).  Applicants should be flexible and willing to be assigned a wide range of tasks.  This is a challenging highly specialized area of law with tremendous opportunity for growth for the right individual.  Those willing to work hard and accept the challenge are invited to apply.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include contract preparation, contract negotiation, assisting Human Resources with routine personal matters, and assisting with wide range of state and federal administrative bodies.  Excellent legal research and writing skills required (please submit writing sample).
 Incumbents are not permitted to handle any legal business (other than pro bono work) outside of the company.  Candidates will be expected to cease all outside practice and all suit involvement upon joining the company. 
Some travel is required. 

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have current law degree and be able to pass the Bar. 
Must be able to obtain DoD security clearance. 
 
PREFERRED SKILLS 
Prior legal experience preferred. 
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations preferred, but not a must 
Will train the right individual. 
 
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree and Juris Doctor from Accredited Law School
